Clean Ocean Access is the sustainability partner for the Bowen's Wharf Oyster & Chowder Festival where we will be overseeing zero-waste stations which have an oyster, compost, recycling and landfill waste bin. Our Green Team volunteers will guide eventgoers in how to correctly sort their waste into the respective bins at the waste stations, while being an ambassador for sustainable choices and promoting environmentally friendly behaviors!
We are looking for volunteers to fulfill shifts on:
May 21: 11-2:30 p.m. and 2:30 - 6 p.m.
May 22: 11-2:30 p.m. and 2:30 - 6 p.m.

Description
Clean Ocean Access is a local environmental group that has three core programs to conserve and protect the coastline of Aquidneck Island. Our three core programs are strongly held together by community events: (1) CLEAN: Eliminating marine debris from the shoreline and changing human behavior to improve ocean health; (2) OCEAN: Improving water quality for permanent year-round clean water, from healthy watersheds to marine ecosystems; (3) ACCESS: Working to protect, preserve, maintain, and expand shoreline access for residents and visitors.
