The Arts sector has been shaken by Covid. After two seasons producing online events 2022 is our return to producing live, in person screenings and we have multiple events planned in different neighborhoods and vemues. Our pre-pandemic network has been deeply impacted by Covid, so we are seeking new volunteers who are enthusiastic about supporting art and culture nonprofits like ours during this recovery.

Mission Statement
The Art of Brooklyn Film Festival is a unique event that brings Brooklyn’s celebrated film and media makers together with their peers across the country and around the world. The award-winning AoBFF is a filmmaker-focused event, platform and showcase for exciting emerging creators and established voices. We partner with film distributors and media organizations, host world-class talkbacks, create innovative programming for networking and skill building, and screen in state-of-the-art theaters for enthusiastic audiences across Brooklyn.
Description
Art of Brooklyn was founded by working artists in 2011. Fifteen festival premieres have gotten theatrical distribution to date - and one became an HBO series. We have held events in twenty different venues in ten neighborhoods across Brooklyn (so far,) often partnering with local businesses and organizations to reach the widest possible audience.

- Evening shifts run from light set up at 6pm to the end of the evening at 11pm. But the bulk of the job will take place during ticketing and greeting guests between 6-7pm. There will also be an easy training (TBD) for no longer than an hour.
- We welcome a wide range of applicants from students to retirees, but we need to work with volunteers who are responsible, reliable, and personable with the public to run ticketing at our screenings.
