Each year, the ALS Association, MN/ND/SD Chapter, holds the Larry Sing Memorial ALS Golf Classic. Established in 1994, members of the agricultural community in the Fargo/Moorhead area come together to remember Larry Sing, who died from ALS in 1997. Four-person teams compete on two golf courses for a great day of golf, dinner, and an impressive silent auction.

This year’s tournament will be held on Monday, August 22. Volunteers are needed at 2 locations throughout the day:

Moorhead Country Club in Moorhead

  • Hole Volunteers [8:30 am - 4:00 pm]

Through this program, people living with ALS can borrow devices that help them communicate after they lose the ability to do so verbally, maintain their independence, and stay safe.
