Partum Evolution, Inc. is a new nonprofit looking for volunteers to help implement the programs designed and developed. This includes reaching out to organizations, churches, hospitals, doulas, midwives, and physicians that we could partner with, looking for grants and helping write proposals for the grants, helping to build a volunteer list, social media, and overall developing relationships with organizations across the country. We are also hoping to have our first event this fall and would like to have help in ideas and planning/execution of that.

We need overall admin and program implementation support. Fundraising help would be an incredible asset to have also.

Mission Statement

To globally empower mothers of color by increasing the awareness, treatment, and prevention of postpartum mood disorders.

Description

Partum Evolution, Inc., a 501c3 nonprofit organization, offers a place of relatability and community for mothers of color that are at risk of or have experienced a postpartum mood disorder. Our purpose is to show that it is possible to not only overcome postpartum depression (PPD) but to also thrive afterward. While highlight the prevalence of perinatal mood disorders in communities of color, Partum Evolution will also shed light on the severe inequities and mistreatment experienced by women of color along their pregnancy and birthing journeys. Partum Evolution aims to accomplish our mission all while creating safe spaces for mothers of color to have these critical conversations, build connections, and form community.
