AID has both weekday, as well as weekday evening volunteer opportunity available in the main Aurora administration office. This position is open to selected court ordered community service volunteers.

Volunteers will be assisting staff with housekeeping duties in the facility.

2 Shifts

  • 08:30 AM to 09:00 PM CST
    Weekday, as well as Weekday evening shifts available, minimum 4 hours a shift between 8:30 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.
  • 08:30 AM to 09:00 PM CST
    Weekday AND Week night shifts available between 8:30 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.. Minimum of 4 hours per volunteer shift
  • NONE OF THESE TIMES WORK FOR ME, BUT I CAN STILL HELP

Description

For over 50 years, the Association for Individual Development (AID) has provided services to individuals who have developmental, physical, and/or mental disabilities, those who have suffered trauma or those at risk.

All clients have access to vital, life enriching services including: early intervention; developmental therapy; autism programs; audiology; respite care; permanent affordable housing; developmental and vocational training; job placement and on-the-job coaching services; crisis intervention; community education and advocacy.

  • Minimum 4 hours per week volunteer shift, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. or 3:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. Late afternoon into evening hours also available.
  • Must be 16 years or older in order to volunteer.
