LifeSmart Education is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit
organization that enhances the availability of nontraditional educational
classes and resources for underserved youth and communities. We help those who
need unwavering, positive life management skills. Youth aren't born knowing the
life skills that we wish they did; they must be taught and molded into
productive members of society. At LifeSmart Education, we teach youth how to be
socially and emotionally successful, and enable them to achieve their highest
potential as law-abiding global citizens.

Role Description
We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic
individual with project management experience to join a creative team in
building a workplace internship program to motivate at risk youth to pursue
higher education.As a member of this development team your efforts will
bring new opportunities to at risk high students to realize their potential.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is
willing to work in a startup environment, looking to make an impact on lives of
youth, and is open to the challenges of a small nonprofit. We welcome creative
individuals that bring a new perspective to challenges and problem solving.
This project will run until February of 2022 with continuing volunteer opportunities
available beyond that time.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the design, planning, and implementation, and completion of short and long-term projects
- Research for ad hoc projects
- Create and maintain documents
- Proofreading
- Data entry
- Additional administrative tasks as needed
Skills
- Strong project management experiance
- Proven ability to meet deadlines
- Able to work in a team and independently
- Training and mentoring experience (desired)
- Detail oriented
- Excellent written and communication skills
