Camp Kesem at the University of Miami is looking for 2 Nurses to join their summer camp team! Kesem offers a free week-long camp for kids affected by their parent’s cancer. Camp is free to attend, and the camp is planned, managed, and staffed by college student volunteers from the University of Miami.
Camp will be held from June 11th to June 16th at Warren W. Willis United Methodist Camp in Fruitland Park, FL.
As a nurse, you will be responsible for dispensing daily medication, as instructed by each camper's physician, and for addressing any health emergencies that may come up over the course of the week. You must hold an RN, LPN/LVN, or be a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Florida, or be willing to obtain a temporary license for that state.
All potential candidates will undergo a background check and interview process. Compensation and travel expense reimbursement are available and will be discussed during the interview.
