The Social Media Volunteer opportunity is a remote opportunity that will foster interpersonal connection between older adults and younger generations through our social media channels.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and implementing social media campaigns to support fundraising, events, and awareness initiatives.
- Create and schedule content for Best Day’s Instagram and Facebook 2x a week
- Create & design engaging and compelling content through Canva or other applications
- Have the ability to work independently and in a group
- Be a reliable and dedicated team members whose values are aligned with Best Day’s mission
- Familiarity with social media platforms, scheduling tools, and analytics.
- Experience in social media content creation

Our name, "The Best Day of My Life So Far," is grounded in the belief that you can turn any day into the best day of your life, just by sharing a story (whether it’s about good or bad times, ordinary or spectacular days) with someone who really cares to listen. Driven by a love of life and a love of people, we are a welcoming and supportive community where people of all ages and social, economic and cultural backgrounds can experience genuine human connection.
Our solution for isolation is to twofold: to empower older adults to share life stories, and through the sharing of those stories, inspire genuine human connection across generational and social divides.
