Gentle Acres Animal Haven needs your help with ongoing fundraising efforts for our rescue animals.
Duties include:
- Plan and oversee campaigns and events to raise donations.
- Develop fundraising strategies and formulate solicitation procedures.
- Identify potential donor bases and establish giving campaigns.
- Understand and be able to explain the various types of donations, including gift annuities, major gifts, corporate giving, endowment campaigns, annual campaigns, and end-of-life gifts.
- Maintain records of donor information.
- Ensure that all legal reporting requirements are satisfied.
Qualifications include:
- Experience writing grant proposals, press releases, and fundraising letters.
- Exemplary communication abilities. Academic background in public relations, journalism, communications, English, marketing, or business.
- Competence in donor management systems.

and protection enables them to live their lives free from fear and will instead enjoy a safe haven filled
with kindness and comfort for the rest of their days.
We advocate eating a diet that is primarily plant-based, nonviolence and justice for animals in factory
farming, industrial animal agriculture and the fur industry. Gentle Acres Animal Haven will continue
to work to create a kinder, more just world for ourselves, our environment and most of all, for the
forgotten animals.

Description
Founded in January 2021, Gentle Acres is a newly developed organization run by our director Jeanine Wittlinger. We are presently working on establishing a network of volunteers and interns to establish programmatic goals, including long-term and short-term projects such as grant writing, renovating our chicken coop, and creating a composting system.
