Bent's Old Fort National Historic Site is a National Park Service site that highlights a unique reconstructed adobe fort on the plains. Dress in 1840s period clothing while demonstrating historic skills and interact with visitors from around the world. Looking for Living History Volunteers who will give visitor orientations and demonstrate 1840s period activities (e.g. cooking historic recipes, blacksmithing, carpentry, being a clerk in the trade room, adobe making, demonstrating hunting techniques, working with livestock, storytelling, etc.) Please call Alicia Lafever at 719-383-5051 if interested and available.
