At Halifax Health, it is incredibly important to us to honor every patient that enters our care, and we take a special pride in our veteran patients. We strive to provide them with what is often a missing sense of understanding and camaraderie that only another veteran can give them. So we are always looking for veterans who are willing to volunteer and spend their time with our veterans in hospice. Our veteran volunteers are also offered the opportunity of helping with our veteran patient pinnings in our ongoing effort to honor our brave soldiers.
Orientation and training provided.
