About Brevard Alzheimer's foundation

To provide information, support and resources to the public, caregivers, family members, and frail elders to assist them to remain in their homes. To provide quality adult day care, in-home respite and other programs to dignify and improve the quality of life for elders coping with long term chronic conditions
Volunteers give fulltime caregivers a short break (2-4hrs) while providing safe, supervised companionship to carereceiver.
Free respite is provided regularly once-a-week or as needed for caregivers to give them a much needed break from the overwhelming, often frustrating tasks of constant caring. Respite allows them to keep doctor appointments, shop, attend club meetings or church, play cards, etc. which keeps them connected in their community and helps them maintain their own health. Volunteers do not do personal care or perform any medical duties. Training is provided.
We'll work with your schedule.
