Help Students Who Need You Most

Over 88% of students in East Palo Alto and eastern Menlo Park are below grade level in reading and math. As a Ravenswood Classroom Partners volunteer, you can make a real difference in their lives! You will work with the same teacher and students for one hour every week; RCP provides training, mentoring, and scheduling. A current volunteer says, "Being part of an organization that makes good use of my time and is well run really motivates me to give it my all."   • morning / 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM
    volunteers commit to helping in the same classroom at a time/day to be arranged with the teacher every week, October through May

REQUIREMENTS

  • Background Check
  • Must be at least 18
  • Orientation or Training
  • This is a weekly commitment of one hour per week minimum. Our volunteers are reliable, timely and consistent.
  • Must enjoy working with children in a 1:1 setting using our literacy curriculum. We provide excellent training and provide ongoing support throughout the school year.
