Mission Statement
The mission of the Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center is to expand the potential of people with disabilities and special needs through meaningful, educational and inspiring outdoor experiences.
Description
Since 1976, the Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center has offered quality outdoor experiences to people of all abilities. The BOEC impacts individuals by attempting to give back part of their life that was lost or not dreamed possible through wilderness and adaptive ski experiences. Experienced staff design challenging outdoor activities for wheelchair users and people with cognitive, physical and mental disabilities. It is the abilities, not the disabilities, of our participants that matter.
