We are looking for help at two of our programs aimed at making fresh food available to the East Boston Community.
Community Supported Agriculture Subsidies program (1-2 volunteers)
The Let’s Get Movin’ program at EBNHC offers a late-fall community supported agriculture (CSA) program in partnership with the ever-popular Farmer Dave’s. Volunteers are needed Thursdays 1:00-6:30pm (shifts possible) to
- Greeting CSA members & distributing shares
- Assist with outreach & registrations
- Record keeping
The EBNHC Wellness Garden is a community space for more than two dozen families, many of whom farmed or gardened in their home countries, to cultivate their own small piece of land here in Boston.Volunteers are needed any day, any time to:
- Help with gardening/maintenance
- Lead/assist with garden workshops for adults and children
- Help organize garden activities
- Spanish speakers welcome!
