Learners Today, Leaders Tomorrow is a small nonprofit dedicated to developing "21st Century Leadership Skills" in today's youth. We are a 100% volunteer organization but plan to eventually grow enough to develop a Human Resource budget to pay people in key roles. (Including Development Director.)
A Development Director, or Director of Development, oversees all of an organization's fundraising and manages relationships with a company's financial partners.
While this is a volunteer position, it will be one of the first positions turned to salary once our budget grows. We need someone who will take this role seriously and develop the Learners Today, Leaders Tomorrow fundraising goals and strategies from the ground up.
We don't offices, so this is a virtual opportunity and will likely remain so. We do have someone writing grants for us, so the Development Director can focus their attention on other aspects of funding.

The organization runs innovative programs that encourage youth ages 4-19 to build self-confidence, knowledge, and life skills through a variety of after-school and weekend programs. Thanks to our generous donors, all programs are free to all students.
Description
Our mission is to empower our youth with 21st-century skills. We do this by providing increased access to activities that nurture the leadership qualities and skills that will be paramount in the 21st-century global economy.
The achievement gap between students who develop 21st-century skills and those who do not is wide, and Learners Today, Leaders Tomorrow aims to fill this gap with quality before and after-school activities for students of all ages.
