Norfolk County RSVP Volunteer Program is seeking one volunteer age 55 or older, to friendly visit with each of the following two visually impaired seniors. Volunteer once or twice per week for 2-3 total hours.
Mileage reimbursement and supplemental insurance are available while volunteering.
In Franklin MA- elderly gentleman, would like a male volunteer but will take a female volunteer if we cannot get a male. He would like help with reading mail and clerical tasks, and going for walks. He has a cane, and would very much to get out of the house for some walks!
Some in Franklin needs a visitor with a car who can take her for errands every other week.
In Bellingham MA- we have a need for a female volunteer in Bellingham. We have a lovely elderly woman who is completely blind and she would love help with reading mail, errands and someone who enjoys conversation
Attleboro, MA - Elderly woman who needs help once a week with grocery shopping and errands. Would like to go with the person in the car.
