Help an Older Adult Talk to their Doctors in Medical Appointments

Be there to help an adult age 60+ remember what to tell the doctor, understand the doctor, be comfortable, and keep track of medical appointments. As a Medical Advocate, you will be matched with a senior, become familiar with their medical issues, and make sure their concerns are addressed. Training is provided. Transportation to and from appointments is also provided.

Portuguese language skills are a bonus!

Somerville-Cambridge Elder Services requires staff and volunteers to be vaccinated against COVID-19, and to have received a booster.
