QUICK OVERVIEW

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation will be hosting its annual Greater Los Angeles Great Strides 5k walk in Santa Monica at Crescent Bay Park on May 21st, 2022. We need volunteers on the day of the event to help the event run smoothly.



IMPACT

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's largest national fundraising event has supported the Foundation's mission to cure cystic fibrosis and raise awareness for this rare, genetic, life-shortening disease that makes it difficult to breathe and shorten lives.

Great Strides provides a fantastic opportunity for family, friends, students, and colleagues to come together and make a difference in the lives of people with CF. The event harnesses the power of people with a shared vision and encourages collaboration, team building, and leadership, as we collectively take steps to find a cure.



VOLUNTEER ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for 20 volunteers. Tasks include set up/tear down, greeting and registering participants, marking the walk route, managing food/water stations, etc.



REQUIREMENTS

All participants must register online and sign the required event waiver prior to the event.

There are multiple shifts available, we can work with your schedule.
