The Community Action Team works with the Coastlove volunteer staff to coordinate and implement our community action events. Our events include education/outreach, coastal cleanup, and restoration projects. Coastlove hosts large monthly and smaller events bi-monthly throughout the Florida Keys and South Florida.

Responsibility includes:

  • Assist in recruiting volunteers
  • Assist in community outreach projects
  • Must attend community action events
  • Set up and break down events including tents, tables, supplies, education materials
  • Educate and provide event participants with information and guidance depending on the focus of the event
  • Treat everyone with kindness and respect
  • Assist Founder and team in all aspects of community action events as needed

We coordinate community education, cleanup, and restoration events, as well as work with communities, businesses, and government agencies to address these issues. We bring education and awareness to the public through our social media platforms.
