The City of Kentwood Parks & Recreation department seeks volunteers for its annual Kentwood's "Kick Off to Summer Food Truck Festival!" The event features lots of food trucks, a beer garden, live music, and a real good time!
VOLUNTEER ROLES
Beer Tent Helper: Volunteers ages 21+ will help pour & serve beer in the beer tent. This is a fun, fast-paced position! Prior experience pouring beer will be helpful. Volunteers must be 21+ and are subject to approval.
Parking & General Event Assistance: Help as needed during the event to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. Duties will include welcoming guests as they arrive & parking guidance. Volunteers must be 18+ unless accompanied by an adult.
T-SHIRTS
All volunteers will receive a t-shirt to wear during the event.

Description
The Parks & Recreation Department provides leisure, sport, fitness and cultural opportunities for residents of Kentwood and the surrounding communities. We offer sports leagues for adults and children, adaptive programs for persons with disabilities, cultural programming, fitness classes, seniors programming and much more. We also offer many special events ranging from the Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony, Egg Hunt, 4th of July Celebration, Tiny Tot Olympics and more.
