Bring a friendly smile. By being a hospice volunteer there are so many opportunities to help enhance our patient's life.
Volunteers can:
Visit Patients- In homes or nursing homes, Vist read a book or the Bible. Bring life to the patients by relieving boredom. Be a friend
Help in Office-making patient packets, filing, copying
Dog Therapy
Writing Life Stories
Making Memory Bears and Pillows
Photography- Taking pictures one last photo of patient and or patient and family
Artist- To paint portraits of patients(This is strictly Volunteer)
Help with activities in Nursing Homes
Polish patients nails
Craft Projects- We make treats for patients for every holiday and for their birthdays
Music Therapy- Play an instrument or sing to the patients

Description
We are a Hospice, providing care to the terminally ill and their families. We want to provide our patients and families the best care and have them to retain their dignity. We do this through the care from our staff and volunteers. Volunteers can provide so much comfort, care and compassion by being a friend to our patients.
Volunteers can work in office, visit patients, write life stories, make treats to take to patients, do photography. The list is endless. We continually work on ideas to enhance our patient's life. We work with living patients and our goal is to help our patients live the best lift possible.
