Help us gather data about animal welfare organisations around the world. We will use this to build our membership, which means we can be a united voice for animal welfare in our advocacy efforts at the United Nations
What will you be doing?
We have access to a database of some 16,000 animal protection organisations around the world. Some of this data is out dated and it also lacks some fields. So we require one or more volunteers to help us uplift this data and create a true global survey of the animal protection movement. In addition to simply filling this data from information on the organisations websites, there is also an initiative element. We are seeking to build a network of organisations who are capable and interested in the feild of public policy in each country around the world, for the benefit of our policy work. You would be required to feed all of this data into either a Google Sheet or our database software (tbd).

What difference will you make?
Many industries have a single lobbying voice which speaks for their interests at the United Nations. So far, this has been lacking for animals. But WFA fills that gap. By helping to uplift this data, not only will you enable WFA to grow its membership and thus represent the interest of many more of our animal protection colleagues and organisations, but you will also be helping to improve a unique resource which is very valuable to our movement.

World Animal Net's mission is to improve the status and welfare of animals worldwide by offering the animal protection community information, expertise and new opportunities to connect, collaborate, and campaign for change.
Description
World Animal Net is a unique organization working for animals worldwide. We accomplish this work through two main approaches:
- By providing resources to animal protection organizations on public policy, humane education, effective campaigning, collaboration and coalition building, and more. By providing these resources we empower organizations to work more effectively, address the root causes of animal suffering and create sustainable positive change in the treatment of animals.
- By advocating for animals on an international level at the World Organisation for Animal Health, the United Nations, the World Bank, and more.
The majority of WAN's outreach occurs online, which is why volunteers who can help us expand our online presence and connect with the organizations we serve are crucial to our mission. We truly appreciate our volunteers and are so grateful for their support.
