On Saturday, May 21 we will be hosting the 25th Annual Aon Step Up for Kids, presented by KPMG, stair climb at Guaranteed Rate Field benefiting the Family Services Department at Lurie Children’s. We are looking for groups within the community to volunteer and help make this event a success for all of our participants.
This year we hope to have many participants and raise money to support a variety of the Family Services Departments programs such as art and music therapy, school services and tutoring, Skylight TV and more to provide emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual support to the patients and their families throughout their journey. Without members of the community donating their time, this event wouldn’t be possible. We would love to see an enthusiastic group of volunteers there at the finish line to support all of our steppers as they climb for the kids!
Volunteer tasks within the event include registration, t-shirt pickup, gear check, wayfinding, and water and cheer stations. More details about volunteer information will be sent in an email closer to the event date.
