The Salgi Esophageal Cancer Research Foundation will host Rhode Island's 11th Annual Esophageal Cancer Walk/Run on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Warwick City Park. There are volunteer opportunities available to help make the annual event a great success. Volunteers must be dependable, at least 18 years old, have a valid drivers license and must be able to provide their own transportation. Please contact us for more information. Credit for college/university is available. Thank you in advance!

Founded on November 21, 2011, in memory of our beloved family member who lost his courageous battle against esophageal cancer; we believe education, awareness, routine screenings, improved treatment options and innovative research projects will help to lower incidence and mortality rates of esophageal cancer.
