Homelessness is a rapidly growing issue in the cities of Mesa, Surprise and Peoria. Lutheran Social Services of the Southwest are addressing this issue head on by identifying host sites that are willing to provide overnight shelter for case managed homeless individuals who are in a program to assist in transitioning them from homelessness to housing. By volunteering your Church to host for overnight stay for any day(s) of the week is a much-needed volunteer opportunity to help individuals to move from hopelessness to hopefulness.
