Volunteers visiting the Hospice Care Center provide support to staff, patients and families.
Typical services provided by Hospice Care Center Volunteers are:
- answering the telephone at the information desk;
- greeting patients/family members/visitors
- operating refreshment cart;
- writing notes for patients
- helping serve food trays;
- provide music enrichment;
- stock refrigerator with soft drinks and make coffee;
- operate magazine cart;
- provide companionship

Hospice of Chattanooga begin in 1981 as an all-volunteer agency. Today, it is the community's oldest hospice and volunteers remain a vital part of our agency. As we continue to grow, our need for volunteers grows also!
