Musician/Music Support Volunteers Needed (COVID-19 Vaccination NOT Required)

Gentiva Hospice is looking for musician/music support volunteers (ages 18 and up) to help provide music/relaxation support to our patients and veterans (with life limiting conditions) and their caregivers. How you serve and how often is completely up to you! Here are a few examples of how our Musician/Music Volunteers serve:
- Provide companionship and emotional support to hospice patients and their caregivers
- Assist in identifying patient's/Veteran's favorite music to listen to
- Provide musical stimulation for Alzheimer's/Dementia patients/veterans and their caregivers
- Provide music for relaxation for hospice patients/veterans in their home as needed
- Perform for large groups of elderly residents/hospice patients/veterans of local nursing homes and assisted living facilities in Jones & Wayne County (within a 60-mile radius of Hattiesburg, MS)
- People with knowledge of music/music reading
- People that can play any of the following instruments
- Singer/Vocals
- Piano
- Strings (acoustic guitar, violin, cello, etc.)
- Wind/Woodwind (flute, clarinet, etc.)
***Vaccination for COVID-19 is NOT required to volunteer with Gentiva Hospice!***
