New york Chapter of CISV is looking for staff for a three week summer camp in New york.
STEP UP | In a Nutshell

The first Step Up was held in 1985. CISV’s Step Up program encourages young people to take a leading role in planning and organizing activities. Step Up camp is an opportunity for global youth leaders to step up to a leadership role while they connect with their peers across our global community. Over 40 youths (age 15) from 10 different countries are invited to participate in this amazing experience. In this multi-cultural experience, the participants are responsible for organizing activities that will focus on our CISV educational contents - this year, focusing on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. Adult leaders and staff (you!) are there to help guide and support our young leaders. This unique camp is designed to empower our youths to become leaders in their local and global communities.

Our ideal candidates are:
* Passionate about human rights, diversity, sustainable development, and conflict & resolution * Have a positive, inclusive attitude * Enjoy working with curious, talented kids and teenagers * Are culturally competent * Responsible with strong instincts for risk management

What we provide: * Training * Stipend ($700) * transportation * Accommodations and meals * Support on a local and national level
