Volunteers are welcome to join our improv theatre workshops, designed to teach social and communication skills to teens and adults with autism, and to provide them with a community of friends. Volunteers participate as equals with the group. Just by being yourself you model social and communication skills that are helpful for people with autism to observe and interact with.
We provide these workshops in 8-week cycles, on Sunday afternoons in Encinitas.These workshops are co-led by 2 young adults with autism. Interested volunteers should contact the PACT office at info@pacthouse.org.
All participants and volunteers of our in-person workshops are required to be fully vaccinated for Covid 19, including at least one booster. During Covid surges we require masks, and have masks and hand sanitizer available. We look forward to hearing from you!

The mission of Positive Action Community Theatre (PACT) is to empower individuals with unique needs and create community through the performing arts.
Description
Since 2008 Positive Action Community Theatre (PACT) has been teaching communication and social skills to children, teens, and adults with autism and other disabilities through inclusive performing arts programs.
We also provide employment and on-the-job training to teens and young adults with autism and other developmental disabilities as actors and workshop directors to teens and young adults with autism.
