Need A Corporate or Group Activity? We've got ideas at The Salvation Army

ORGANIZATION: The Salvation Army of Summit County

Do you have a large group that needs a SERVICE PROJECT? The Salvation has a few options for you to consider.

Our main event is our RED SHIELD PANTRY held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month. At RED SHIELD we help load about 150 cars with bags of groceries at our drive-up Pantry. With this event the more help the better! The times we need help are 8:15 AM - 11:15 AM.

As Christmas season approaches we need groups to sponsor and staff Red Kettles around Akron. We have 40 kettle we can potentially put out - but without volunteers they can't be placed. The money from the Red Kettles helps keep our Community programs running all year long.

During the year we have other various service opportunities around our main building.

Contact John Kasler at The Salvation Army to plan an event for your group.
