I am co-founder of 3 non-profit networks that do amazing work to care for people and planet.

  • e-NABLE.org is a global network of volunteers making free open-source 3D-printed prosthetics

  • Re-NABLE.org is the Rochester Chapter of e-NABLE. It manages e-NABLE's bank account and supports local projects for improving lives, livelihoods, and environments of underserved populations.

  • EcoRestorationAlliance.net is an important new global initiative (with local projects cooking for Rochester) aimed at raising awareness of ecorestoration as a short term solution for mitigating climate change through bio-cooling and flood-prevention, and a long term solution by restoring global weather patterns and eliminating heat islands caused by bare, paved and degraded ground.

All three would benefit from a Social Media manager who would help us figure out how to aggregate posts from our members on various social platforms, curate them, and fan them out to other platforms.

The Social Media Manager would work with Ben Rubin and me (both Rochester-based), but local residence is not crucial. This could be a short term assignment to help configure tools and a workflow or (ideally) a long term collaboration with someone who wants to seize an opportunity participate in a rewarding, meaningful, and potentially world-changing movement.

Social Media management is our most critical need, but our challenge and our opportunity tends to attract people with multiple skills and interest. With the right person, the project scope (and personal rewards) might well expand ;-)
