Comfort Hospice is seeking volunteers to visit with patients during their final journey through life.
If you are a good listener or enjoy reading, writing, computers, watching TV programs or simply holding the hand of someone that needs a friend please consider becoming a hospice volunteer. This opportunity is for a small family in Tomball. The volunteer matched to this household is expected to provide caregiver relief. This means accompanying the patient while the caregiver runs errands or visits the doctor.

A volunteer can make a big difference to someone that could use a friend.

Opportunities

There are several different ways that you can become involved with Harmony Caress Hospice:

  • Offering companionship and support to our patients and their family members

  • Providing assistance with clerical duties within our office

  • Assisting in our bereavement department

  • Supporting special projects behind the scenes

  • Youth Volunteers (between the ages of 14-17) may volunteer to assist with the administrative duties within our office
