At Kairos Academies, we believe now is the opportune moment to reimagine education for our students. Volunteers are fundamental in our process of growing our school and creating a space where students can thrive. As we are preparing to introduce new grade levels to our school, we want to fill our classrooms with bright students. Your role in Kairos is to engage our communities and increase enrollment through canvassing.
Responsibilities
- Go door-to-door to building relationships with potential Kairos families
- Develop pitches for engaging with parents, make cold call follow-ups, and working with a team to answer questions about Kairos
- Gathering information on interested enrollees such as contact information for follow up
- Follow up on canvassing outcomes to canvassing manager
No prior experience is required, we’re looking for volunteers eager to contribute and who are passionate about bringing students to our school. We can see more St. Louis youth succeed in school because of canvassing, and we look forward to working with you. If you’re interested in learning more feel free to check us out at kairosacademies.org or email directly at maxime@kairosacademies.org.

Mission Statement
The mission of Kairos Academies is to empower students to direct their own lives and learning. By leveraging technology and reimagining traditional instruction, Kairos personalizes the learning experience and nurtures student autonomy. Our model develops not just academic knowledge, but the organizational, social, and emotional competencies students needed for true agency in our changing economy and society.
Description
Kairos Academies is St. Louis’ first personalized learning public charter school, aiming to serve 5th-12th graders in the city’s highest-need community. We empower students to direct their own lives and learning by simulating a real 21st-century learning and work environment-where students make choices over when, where, how, and with whom they work. To support that experience, Kairos provides intensive 1-1 executive function coaching, a world-class curriculum that combines online resources with hands-on projects, and one of Missouri’s only diverse-by-design student populations. Data show that Kairos’ restorative justice and self-directed learning model accelerate student social-emotional and academic growth. According to best-in-class assessments ( Panorama and NWEA MAP), Kairos ranks in the 99th percentile for teacher-student relationships and grow in reading, math, and language use at 2-3x the national average.
