We are planning to offer two free Cybersecurity courses (beginners and intermediate) to our ReDI School students in the Fall semester, which will be developed and lead by a paid lead teacher, so we will provide for material for this course :)

We are looking for 4 assistant teachers per course to support the lead teachers as assistants in class and in the weekly homework review. Classes are composed of 10-15 students. We usually teach each class in pairs (lead teacher + 1 assistant teacher) and the ReDI Team supports teachers throughout the semester with organisational structure.

The purpose of the beginners course is that students get a fundamental understanding of the cybersecurity domain and how it is to work as a cybersecurity specialist. Here is an overview of the beginner's course curriculum:

Description

The ReDI School of Digital Integration is a non-profit technology school based in Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Dusseldorf, Duisburg and Copenhagen. The school was founded in February 2016 with the aim to facilitate integration into society for refugees as well as their access to the labor market. Today, ReDI offers free courses in digital skills to IT-savvy "newcomers" and locals having no access to digital education or to a professional network. To accelerate the start of a new career, ReDI also offers different career services: workshops, career talks and networking events with tech companies. In addition, students and alumni have access to a 1:1 mentorship program.

These are the programs that are currently running in Berlin: Digital Career Program (advanced coding classes + career services), Digital Women Program (digital literacy, beginner coding classes, design track + career services), Kids & the Digital Youth Program (intro to computer skills & intro to coding).
