Lava Beds National Monument is currently looking for volunteers to assist with visitor services at the parks visitor center. With more than 800 caves, Native American rock art sites, historic battlefields and campsites, and a high desert wilderness there is a lot to do and learn at Lava Beds.
On average Lava Beds sees 130,000 people annually and as a Visitor Services Volunteer you will help make a positive impact on visitor’s experiences at the park. In this role you will help provide information about the park either by phone or in person as well as inform visitors about policies and safety concerns they might experience in the park.
