ORGANIZATION: THE AUNT SISTER PROJECT

  • 29 people are interested

The Aunt Sister Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides affordable health and wellness programs to cancer survivors across the U.S. We are a small organization who some would consider to still be in the startup phase. Our funding thus far has come mostly from grassroots fundraising efforts. We have grown by 50% each year since our launch in 2020. We plan to double our impact in 2023, and grow exponentially from there, but we need more resources and funding.

We have a very "niche" mission, but the impact is huge, and our community of survivors is growing. We are currently a Board of eight very talented individuals, but in a transition point for chairperson. We need someone with strong leadership skills and nonprofit experience. The Board Chair/Co-Chair will help the Executive Director lead Board meetings and aid in fundraising and development efforts. Experience on a non-profit Board is a must! We are looking for a forward-thinking pro to help keep us on track and plan for a fruitful future!

Leadership skills and management experience is a must, and nonprofit experience is preferred.
