Rio Rancho Players is Rio Rancho's ONLY ALL-AGES COMMUNITY THEATRE program. We produce 3 shows per year (9 shows for each production) and welcome anyone interested in front or back of the house! No experience is required. If you have ever wanted to work in theater, Rio Rancho Players has a place for you! In addition to actors, every production requires teams for makeup, costumes, stage crew, concessions, ushers, parking attendants, ticket sales, set design, set builders, lighting, sound, etc.

Rio Rancho Creative Crossroads' (RRCC) is an economic and community development organization for all forms of art and types artists. We believe passionately in the power of the arts to enrich, engage and inspire our community.

Description

Founded in 2013,Rio Rancho Creative Crossroads (RRCC) has been introducing our community to the merits and potential of the arts. RRCC is Rio Rancho's only multi-discipline, all ages, community arts organization. We provide low or no cost arts programming to our community. Our programs include Rio Rancho Youth Chorus, Rio Rancho Players Community Theatre, and Squeaky Shoe Project. Our programs aim to nurture a love and respect for an all arts experiences, shared or individual and provide an inclusive environment where community members can experience the joy of creating or experiencing art. We welcome people of all backgrounds, styles, cultures, orientations, abilities, and identities. We eliminate barriers to accessing the arts. All are welcome - no one is turned away.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Depends on what you want to do. Cast members spend the most time - usually 2-3 rehearsals (mostly evenings) a week for 2-3 hours for about 6 weeks plus 3 weekends of performances. Back of the house time committments vary depending on selected area.
