ORGANIZATION: North Central Iowa CASA Program

CASAs amplify the voices of children who have been judged as "children in need of assistance" by the state. You'll learn your role through comprehensive training, and then you'll be assigned your own case. A coach and a CASA coordinator will be there to support you along the way as you advocate in court for your assigned children.

Mission Statement

The Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) program is a unique volunteer experience that aligns concerned citizens with abused and neglected children in their community. CASAs speak for children who cannot speak for themselves.

Description

Thousands of children in Iowa are currently under the juvenile court's jurisdiction due to abuse and neglect. The programs and activities of ICAB are dedicated to advocating for these children's best interests. You can help as a CASA or FCRB volunteer!
