Spiritual Volunteers needed to spend time with hospice patients throughout the Chicagoland Area to offer spiritual support that focuses on patient beliefs and is accepting of the wide range of spiritual perspectives among our patients and families. This may include prayers, meditation, reading, spiritual music, and a listening ear to the patient's point of view.
We invite you to become a member of a dedicated group of compassionate caregivers who serve as vital members of our hospice team. Caretenders Hospice provides an individualized program of physical, emotional, spiritual, and practical care for people in the last stages of an incurable disease, with emphasis on control of pain and symptom management. The program is reflective of a spirit and idea of caring that emphasizes comfort and dignity for the dying, making it possible for them to remain independent for as long as possible and in familiar surroundings.
