Help seniors find the resources to meet their needs. Rath Senior ConNEXTions needs a volunteer answer phones and help refer seniors to the appropriate local resources.

If you enjoy helping people, answering phones and are good with computers this is an opportunity to make a difference.

Illustrative duties may include

  • Respond to assistance requests from seniors and senior associates
  • Research senior resources
  • Data entry
  • Participate in Health Fairs and other public events
  • General office duties
  • Set up for meetings, classes and health fairs

Description

Leading Through Experience! You've gained a lifetime of experience. Now is the time to put your skills and talents to good use by volunteering through RSVP. RSVP provides opportunities for people 55 and over to make a difference in their community through volunteer service. RSVP volunteers contribute anywhere from a few to over forty hours a week, serving through non-profit, faith-based, and governmental agencies to help meet critical community needs. RSVP offers maximum flexibility and choice to its volunteers. RSVP matches the personal interests and skills of volunteers with opportunities to help solve community problems and offers supplemental accident insurance while on duty, and on-the-job training from the agency or organization where volunteers are placed.
