ORGANIZATION: InterFaith Works of Central New York

Are you 55 or older?
Looking to stay active after retirement?
Help seniors in our community stay independent by becoming a Senior Companion.

Together you might do things such as:

  • Go on walks
  • Grocery shopping
  • Prepare a simple meal together
  • Drive to appointments
  • Play games and watch TV

You can also sign up to deliver meals or help with transportation

Income-eligible Companions receive a small stipend and travel reimbursement.

*The Senior Companion Program is a program of AmeriCorps Seniors
