Recruiting Organization: I'RAISE GIRLS AND BOYS INTERNATIONAL CORPORATION

We are looking for a professional Brand Marketing Specialist who will help our organization with creating, planning, and implementing thoughtful marketing initiatives to promote our growing non-profit organization.

Current Project:

I'RAISE is hosting a gathering that will bring together partners and funders to discuss the youth mental health crises in New York City and the ways in which I'RAISE has continued to address this crisis throughout the pandemic. The branding specialist volunteer will put together a robust plan to ensure a consistent, innovative and compelling brand including putting together charts and infographics, letter templates to reveal program impact. And, help establish I’RAISE Girls & Boys International Corporation as a major non-profit organization within New York City.

Youth in New York City's mental health has declined since the COVID-19 pandemic. I'RAISE has been boots on the ground daily providing mental health support to vulnerable children in public schools throughout the pandemic. This project is important because it will enable I'RAISE to amplify its message to stakeholders and communicate our impact.

We have a full team of board of directors and the executive team and a small marketing team who has been working actively on this project. We have prepared a folder for the Branding volunteer with program impact and reports and written content to review and build upon.

Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Strategy - Build innovative marketing strategies incorporating multiple channels including campaign development, brand building, and digital advertising.
  • Social Media Engagement - Implement a social media calendar using information with pictures, relative news and topics, and additional resources. Implement and post social media information on platforms like Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. Provide support to social media efforts to target and increase audiences.
  • Marketing Materials - Help to create images and videos to use for marketing initiatives. Create signage, newsletters, email campaigns, online promotions, etc. Assist in promoting company events and programs.
  • Blog Writing and Content Creation- Write blog posts on topics such as education, financial literacy and health and well-being.
  • Management - Assist the Marketing Director with managing Marketing Assistants.
  • Reporting - Create monthly reports highlighting the outcome of marketing efforts

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficient in email, social and analytics platforms
  • Marketing/Graphic Design experience
  • Innovative, imaginative, and resourceful
  • Flexibility in schedule
  • Digital imaging work experience
  • Editorial experience
  • Collaborative team player
