ORGANIZATION: ELLIOTT ACRES THERAPY RIDING INC

Our riding season starts Tuesday April 19th 2022, Our general hours of operation are Tuesdays 4pm - 8pm and Saturdays 9am - 1pm. We need at least 15 volunteers a session to assist us with the riders and the horses. Whether you enjoy being around horses, helping those with disabilities or doing handy work we have a job for you! We also have a running list of day projects that volunteer groups (scouts, churches, schools, families etc.) can assist with. In order to volunteer at Elliott Acres you must bring with you the proper paper with you, our Volunteer release form and Photo Release Form, which you can find on our website under FORMS. We must have paperwork on file in order to allow you to be around the horses.If you are under 18, your release MUST be signed by a parent or guardian. All Volunteers must wear covered shoes, no sandals, flip-flops or crocs allowed. Be prepared for a lot of walking. Elliott Acres Therapeutic Riding Center, Inc. aims to enhance the physical, mental, and emotional status of our riders by teaching basic horsemanship principals that aid in improving our riders' movement, concentration, and communication. Our vision is to provide a safe, therapeutic, rewarding experience for people with special needs. This rewarding experience would then help to improve their everyday life.
