ORGANIZATION: Sunset Cultural Center, Inc.

Sunset Center volunteers are highly engaged members of our community who are committed to supporting the arts. Volunteers from the Monterey Peninsula make up the lifeblood of our organization by generously donating their time to Sunset Center. They serve as ushers, ticket takers, concession helpers, gallery hosts, and ambassadors.

SCC is always actively recruiting new volunteers. If you'd like to join our volunteer team for our upcoming 2025-2026 season, please visit our website at www.sunsetcenter.org/volunteer.htm or email: volunteers@sunsetcenter.org. Deadline for applicants for our current season is June 1, 2025. The mandatory Volunteer Orientation and Training is TBD but likely in June and is only open to screened applicants.

  • Sat Jul 19, 2025 - 01:00 PM to 11:00 PM PST - Spots available: 10+
    Time and length of shifts are determined by the individual events. Shifts are normally about 4 hours long.

Sunset Center volunteers are enthusiastic, customer-service oriented individuals who create a welcoming environment to all Sunset Center patrons and visitors. They generously donate their time to usher and take tickets during performances, execute administrative work, act as gallery hosts, and serve as ambassadors for the Center.
