Our hospice care teams strive to continue the ministry of Christ through compassion to each patient and their family regardless of his or her ethnic or faith background. Franciscan hospice affirms and celebrates life and regards dying as a natural process, recognizing that every person has a right to die with dignity, peace, and comfort.
Opportunities include, but are not limited to, providing respite care for caregivers, patient companionship, office assistance, and bereavement support. You can be working in patients home for home hospice. Or, in our comprehensive inpatient facility on the southside of Indianapolis. You may also bring unique talents to our hospice volunteer team. Are you a hairdresser? A Veteran? Musician? Have a pet therapy animal? We have needs for your services too!
A comprehensive training program would be provided. Your compassion and support will bring comfort to patients and families during end of life care.
