ORGANIZATION: Raise a Child of the Carolinas

ACCOUNTING INTERN/VOLUNTEER:

The RACC is offering a summer internship or volunteer opportunity in accounting. This role will be supervised by the Finance Committee Lead and will be completely virtual. In this position, candidates will sharpen accounting skills by assisting our team with documentation of accounting procedures, accounts payable and receivable, and other priorities as needed. You will help ensure our records are consistent with all submitted financial statements.

Responsibilities include:

  • Process documentation
  • Data entry for payments and contributions
  • Support other miscellaneous administrative needs on occasion

Requirements include:

  • Career interests in Accounting or Business Management
  • Organized and capable of following instructions to meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Has a continuous improvement mindset and willing to recommend process improvements
  • Supportive of the RACC’s mission to serve underrepresented communities in Charlotte
