ORGANIZATION: Grace Place for Children and Families

Grace Place is currently looking for volunteers to work with our Elementary School Summer camp! Students in 1st grade through 5th grade will be attending our camp, Monday - Friday this summer, and we are looking for volunteers to assist in the classrooms! Several shifts and opportunities are available. Tutors willing to work one-on-one or in small groups with students assisting with homework, reading partners, math or even mentoring are in high demand. If you want to provide a special lesson in art, gardening, music, wellness activities or a specific academic lesson there is an opportunity for you! No prior experience teaching necessary just a desire to help those helping themselves! Shifts available will be 9 am - 12 pm, and 12:30 - 4:30 pm, and we will ask you to commit to one shift per week. For more information, contact Colleen Durham at 239-255-7213 or

About Grace Place for Children and Families

4300 21st Ave SW, Naples, FL 34116, US

Mission Statement

Grace Place puts faith into action - providing pathways out of poverty by educating children and families.

Grace Place is a faith-based nonprofit educational organization that serves the families of Golden Gate City. We believe that education transforms lives, promotes dignity and enhances self-esteem. We understand that an investment in the education of all members of the family - child, adolescent and adult - creates a powerful educational culture in the home and long-term achievement for both children and families. We believe education is the key to breaking the inter-generational cycle of poverty.
