In today's busy society we often find ourselves just plain tired and don't have enough time for ourselves let alone someone else. We get that but when your day is hard, just the worse day ever, imagine it disappearing as you sit with someone who may not have anyone. One hour, two hours, or even 30 minutes of your time will brighten the day of someone that needs a friendly voice, someone that will listen, someone that cares. Often you will find they are the one that soothes your soul. THE BEST CLASSROOM IN THE WORLD IS AT THE FEET OF AN ELDERLY PERSON.
We are looking for special individuals that will call our Hospice patients.
We are looking for volunteers to sit at their bedside and read to them, color with them, and show them some light in the dark times of their lives.
How do i do that? We have paperwork to fill out, we run a background check, and offer training.
