Mentor an Immigrant Student!

Save to Favorites

Recruiting Organization: Enroot

Are you looking for a great way to give back to the community? Consider partnering with immigrant high school students in the Cambridge/Somerville community through Enroot!

Many immigrant youth face challenges in building a strong foundation in a new country. Enroot empowers these students through one-on-one mentoring, leadership development, college prep, and English practice while uplifting immigrant youth voices.

As a mentor , you will be pivotal in empowering students to build a strong foundation and to maximize their potential!

We are specifically looking for mentors who live in the Cambridge, Somerville, and Boston area, and are currently in their junior/senior year of college, recent grads, or working professionals. We are especially looking for volunteers who can speak one (or more!) of the following languages: Spanish, Haitian Creole, or Portuguese. Speaking another language is not a requirement and we encourage anyone interested to apply! We are prioritizing volunteers who are bilingual and self-identify as BIPOC.

Join our community of passionate and motivated volunteers!
